This dress has been in my closet since last summer waiting for the perfect occasion to make its appearance. But as it's a bit tricky to wear for its super narrow neckline, it never seemed appropriate for anything. That's why, after too much waiting i decided to dress it down by wearing it with the turtleneck jumper, perfect for a lazy sunday wandering around the city.

Este vestido ha estado en mi armario desde verano esperando para la ocasión perfecta para hacer su aparición estelar. Pero como es bastante díficil de llevar porque tiene un escote muy cerrado, nunca parecía apropiado para nada. Así es como, después de mucho tiempo, decidí combinarlo con un jersey de cuello alto para un look más casual perfecto para un domingo sin mucho que hacer.

I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately but i'm in the dark exams period and you wouldn't want to see the outfits i put together at 6.30 in the morning after not much sleeping (horrible daily loop), basically skinny jeans, oversized jumpers and superga/minnetonkas day after day. I know... boring.

Siento la falta de posts ultimamente pero estoy en ese oscuro periodo conocido como "exámenes" y no creo que los estilismos que consigo ponerme cada mañana a las 6.30 de la mañana, con medio ojo abierto, os resulten muy interesantes (un horrible bucle diario de falta de sueño); básicamente mi uniforme consiste en vaqueros pitillo, jerseys oversize y supergas/minnetonkas día tras día. Lo sé...aburrido.

When he said this jumper looked like the static on tv, it took me a while to remember what it was. Being born in the 80's, what an experience that was! it's crazy how the world has changed so quickly and how we barely remember the prehistoric technology we used to have at home. As my brother likes to say "hey, we live in the future and we arrived here without being raised with an ipad in our hands!"

No matter that i have inhibitions to fill all my pockets, i keep trying. My parents named me Sara, which is a biblical name, in the original story God told Sara she could do something impossible and... she laughed! Cos the first Sara, she didn't know what to do with impossible, and me? neither do i! So if you tell me i can do the impossible, i'll probably laugh at you. I don't know if i can change the world yet, because i don't know much about it, but if you make me laugh hard enough, sometimes i forget what century i'm in.

Last week i had the pleasure of having the visit of the infamous photographer Steven Conway. The price to pay was to drive him to a small town to make a project and be his translator. He wanted to photography old people in their normal lives and the result came out quite cool. It's weird how old people love having pictures of them taken, it's like they feel young again.
Anyway, this is what i wore to walk around in the cold mountain, a simple and comfortable outfit.

La semana pasada tuve el placer de recibir la visita del famoso fotógrafo Steven Conway. El precio a pagar fue llevarle a un pueblecito perdido en la montaña y hacer de traductora para un proyecto. Quería fotografiar a gente mayor en su día a día y el resultado quedó muy bien, muy entrañable. Es curioso lo mucho que le gusta a la gente mayor que les hagan fotos, es como si se sintieran jóvenes otra vez.
Y esto es lo que me puse para ir de aquí para allá en el frío de la montaña, algo bastante simple y cómodo.

 The real cold has finally arrived. You can just feel it in some moments of the day but it's here! And why am i so happy? because i need to start studying like crazy and spend all my hours in the library so it's not as horrible when you know the weather outside doesn't allow you to do much anyway. It has come accompanied by rain too, oh yeah, time to get into books and warm sweaters!

 El frío de verdad ha llegado por fin, solo se nota en algunos momentos del día, pero ¡ya está aquí! Y ¿por qué estoy tan feliz? porque tengo que empezar a estudiar como una loca y pasar todas mis horas en la biblioteca, así que con este tiempo que no te deja hacer casi nada no será tan tentador salir. Además ha venido acompañado de lluvia, ¡oh si, tiempo de meter la cabeza entre libros y ponerse jerseys calentitos!
